2 Cor 2:9
9 But he said to me, j“My grace is sufficient for you, for kmy power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that lthe power of Christ may rest upon me.
The Holy Bible: English Standard Version. (2016). (2 Co 12:9). Wheaton, IL: Crossway Bibles.
This verse spoke a lot to me today especially when i spent the first half of the day in the morning session workshop, where we discussed about the things that matter to me. I spoke of religion. I am neither smart, nor am i rich, yet at the same time i will boast of my weaknesses. Oh i have lots of weaknesses, that it truly humbles me when i sat down and recount them one by one until i kind of lost count, and yet the verse spoke of the assurance that God’s grace that I can count on, even tho I do not deserve it. This verse brought some much needed assurance in a time where once again I had to deal with so much uncertainty and insecurity, and I can only turn to God, not Man, not in myself and not in my wife.
