    A Simple Life

But godliness with contentment is great gain. 1 Tim 6:6 It is no small feat, nothing more powerful than one’s desire to live a simple life; free from the struggles and strifes of getting more. Materialism takes another form; something far more deceitful and for more sinister; that when the chase for money, possession and power have led humanity to raise its ugly form that is so evidential today in our world. To live a simple life must force oneself to forsake the chase for the meaningless thing and trust in God for all my needs. And to do that, we will look beyond the physical world of this present moment…

    American Gospel

Years ago, I sat in a service, hearing some Christian leaders on the stage, talking about how it is ok for young people to get on tinder, or how to break up with their girlfriend or boyfriend, etc; I sat there grieving. At that time I was not sure why I was feeling so angry, sad, and aggrieved. Even among the church today, we are preaching a social gospel without Christ, but a social feel good psychology prep talk on how to be a good person. We are living in an age where pastors said they heard from God, but have proven how ‘impotent’ their god is, we hear preachers…

  • Preparation of dinner

For the last six weeks, I have been taking care of meals; from buying the ingredient, to cooking, and I do enjoy cooking and I am quite surprised at being delighted in such menial tasks comparing to going out and accomplishing big things like what Mercy is doing. I do not think I am ever capable of anything except living out my meaningless existence. For now, taking stock of what really does matter, is being here in a position to support my wife for her work; loving and taking care of Donut and Oreo, being a responsible son to my mother, and carrying out my duty at work. After so…

    Day 3: Conduct of Christians

“Therefore, having put away falsehood, let each one of you speak the truth with his neighbor, for we are members one of another. Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and give no opportunity to the devil.” Ephesians 4:25-27 ESV I am confronted again and again over the years on a flaw and how much I have rationalized it away, is always a prick or a thorn in my soul. A Christian ought to have conducted themselves above reproach, and above questionable integrity, and how this part is something I’ve kept God away for ages, hoping God will overlook this part…

    Death is a Certainty

All have sinned and fallen short of God’s standard. And the wages of Sin is Death. ~ The Bible (Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23) Death is a strong if not, a sure certainty to the reality of God. If there is no God, no absolute moral law, then death is not logical. if Death is a certainty, all men will die one day, then it is also logical that God will provide a way out, and better yet, He provided that solution by crucifying His own Son.

Happening this year 2019 in Nov, Festival of Praise which its history is full of ups and downs involving a whole lot of endorsement of false teachers, false prophets and erroneous teachings is at it again, bringing Todd White, the fruit of the prosperity gospel preachers Benny Hinn and Kenneth Copeland to Singapore.

    I support Pink Dot!

I SUPPORT PINK DOT if it is really true, that Pink dot movement is all about the freedom to love who we choose to love and the freedom to express that love. If that is the case, speaking from the background of my faith, YES, the rock of my belief anchored on Love, and what that Love is, one of the greatest virtues that we can all seek. The question is, the Pink Dot movement is more than just the freedom to love and the way to express that, it is about the celebration of perversion. If they want to love each other, go ahead and i will put on…

Singapore not Antioch of Asia but soon another Sodom

In the recent incident involving the banning of the death metal band performing in Singapore, the person who started the 16,000 collective signatures in the petition to the authority that somehow led to the last minute change of position that led to the ban, and as a result, an outcry against the people who signed for the petition, the Christian community who lauded the decision as logical and sensible, and the author of the petition herself. At least in my opinion, the author got it wrong with her intention, the real evil is not the death metal band and their message of death and devil worship but two main observations…
