26 tPonder3 the path of your feet; uthen all your ways will be sure.
27 vDo not swerve to the right or to the left; turn your foot away from evil.
The Holy Bible: English Standard Version. (2016). (Pr 4:26–27). Wheaton, IL: Crossway Bibles.
In the instant mentality of this world, the virtue of pondering is lost in the veil of busyness we surround ourselves with. Rushing for meetings, reports to do, presentation to make, meeting deadlines, rushing to earn more money, and more, and those activities have clouded a human judgment of making sure of my own direction. To move away from the job at this difficult and almost impossible time, have I taken time out to ponder and to pray and to talk to God? No, i must do so tomorrow, and to ponder the path of my feet, in the precepts of God, and to have a conversation with Him, to know what He wants. Yes, thank You Father for Your wisdom and Your Word, indeed they are a lamp for my path, a light for my feet.
